This update offers various optimizations and improvements for ELAM Solutions. It is recommended to clear the entire browser cache after the update so that UI (user interface) adjustments take effect.

Optimizations and bug fixes

• Fixed a bug in the flowchart editor that characters are sometimes not saved.
• Underscores are permitted in the “User name” field.
• Fixed an error in the simulation of flowcharts so that processes are simulated correctly.
• Texts for error messages in the ELAM assistant adapted.
• Fixed a bug in the flowchart editor because assignments to variants were not automatically removed when variants were deleted.
• Fixed bug that cancel request signals are not transmitted correctly to the SmartCamera.
• Display for the “Value comparison” step in the ELAM assistant adjusted so that the “Value type” info is not displayed if no unit is defined.
• Loading time optimized if you select different stations in the ELAM assistant.

Backend Updates

• New GraphEngine has been integrated. This will enable the following functional features to be provided at a later date:
  • Steps in the ELAM Assistant can be repeated.
  • Parallel sequences can be created in the Flowchart Editor and users can switch between parallel sequences as required in the ELAM Assistant.

Performance optimizations for tool communications

An optimization has been carried out for various ELAM tool controllers. The optimization means that tools are generally activated and deactivated more quickly. The new tool controller versions have been released for all SWA (Smart Work Assistants) devices. After restarting the SWA devices, the update is automatically downloaded and installed in the background. The update takes approx. 5-10 minutes and is performed automatically.
